To maintain the highest level of health and safety for all residents, every horse entering or leaving our rehab program undergoes our compulsory Biosecurity Bundle. This clinical protocol ensures a sterile environment through a full deep-clean, jet wash, and DEFRA-approved disinfection, followed by a fresh professional bed-down for every new arrival. When horses are in rehab, they often spend more time standing than usual, so a thick, clean bed is a medical necessity, not just a luxury. This justifies your "Biosecurity Bundle" as a healthcare cost rather than a stable chore. Our biosecurity measures are designed to protect horses with compromised immune systems during their rehabilitation stay. Arrival: Full stable strip, high-pressure jet wash, and DEFRA-approved clinical disinfection. Professional bed-down with a full bed of dust-extracted straw. Departure: Complete clear-out of all organic matter followed by a secondary deep-clean and sanitisation for the next occupant.
